Tell me why hxd

HxD is a freeware hex editor, a tool that can open and edit computer code. A system drive the one where Windows is installed on cannot be written to while Windows is running. DLL installed on your system. DLL is added, through IE 3. You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly.

You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. Sony rdr hxd Thread starter richardaustin Start date Sep 14, Hi I am a new member and I may be going over old ground, can anyone tell me why my sony hdx is letting me set the program to record and then the after the red clock emblem shows and it says timer set, only for the emblem to disapear and I am unable to set programs to record. I've tried retuning and sometimes this helps but after a while I get the same problem occuring.

When you set a programme to record later, initially the red "clock" shows but after seconds it disappears. Also, sometimes the record timer seems to set OK but after a day or so it loses it. When I arrived home on Sunday evening it had only recorded the Saturday qualifying. If anyone has any ideas how to remedy this problem I would be extremely grateful! Thanks, Mike. JH4 Well-known Member. Sounds like it might be a signal issue. As has been mentioned here many times: Check you have the correct band not wideband aerial for your particular area, fed with double screened foil and braid aerial lead to the recorder.

There has been a declining area of high pressure over the UK over the last few days - classic conditions for co-channel interference from French TV stations, which disrupt the weak Freeview signal.

You may find the situation improves when that goes away. The reason why a wideband aerial is a no - no, despite it's continual sale in a famous high street electronics retailer, is because it can pick up duplicate instances of the same channel at weak and 'wrong' frequencies, which confuse Freeview DVD recorders.

Like the other replies,I am wondering if it is a signal problem. I am in direct line to the Mendip transmitter and have a very strong signal, but I am told they are still messing about testing the signal for the changeover to digital which is next March, so this could be something to do with my problem, also I was told that my Freeview is still an analogue signal and when it changes to digital this will be much better and will probably correct anything coupled to signal problems.

Last edited: Sep 17, Roger Thornhill Active Member. Go into the ''Timer List'' and check there are no ''Unresoved'' events. I have seen this recently and have no idea why they are there as all the listed unresolved events had taken place!
