Deus ex why are my batteries red

Perhaps it was my poor grammar that led the lead mod to not restore my prostitute killing post. Oh yeah, a caveat. But as soon as it goes red, that means you need to find something to replenish it with. The strength aug doesn't use a lot of energy, so after you're done using it, the battery would recharge since you didn't use the full battery up.

User Info: Tnykuuh. All the battery after the first one will recharge if you didn't use them all. King of like the health bar in the first Halo. As long as you don't use a full battery, it will recharge. Some action like takedowns use a full battery so they will not recharge after that.

Only the first battery will recharge even if use fully. Some fear death, others pray for it. I think that's very lame. In short, it means you should only fill up your batteries when you're about to get into a tough situation, because if you only do it on a single enemy, what's the point if a single battery could have done the same?

For a while I had a fully charged battery. Now, it is down to its minimum again and never charges beyond that What gives? Showing 1 - 13 of 13 comments. It looks like it raises the max possible charge but once it drains it goes back to that small recharging segment. I did the same thing thinking it would expand that recharging segment. I completely understand the complaints. But the energy system is evidently purposefully limited so that energy consumption items have more meaning. Think of it this way: you have 1 pip, and you can "buff" yourself past that if you feel that the scenario might call for it. Works out wonderfully with invisibility, for example. Prepping for a large invisibility run wouldn't work as a gameplay strategy under a recharging bar system. I'm not necessarily opposed to them putting a limitation on basically a one-hit kill move, but I wish they would have handled it differently, or used a different 'energy' delivery method, or maybe changed how it was stored, or something.

I agree about the limited energy. Its annoying when an enemy rushes up on me, and I can't do an instant kill move because my energy is depleted.

Next thing I know I end up dead shot to death. At least I can find energy bars pretty regularly but the whole recharge thing just dosen't jive with me. It really feels like some kind of weird Twilight Zone episode. Play, chat, and share experiences with your friends on GOG. Online Offline.
